About This Position

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Firefighter assigned to a crew engaged in airfield, structural firefighting, crash-rescue, and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Operations, assist in reducing and/or eliminating potential fire hazards and reacting to the presence/potential releases of hazardous materials to protect persons, property, or the environment.
The U.S. Air Force operates recreation, lodging, and food service facilities at air bases through its Services program, supporting airmen and their families.
Air Force Services positions include food service workers, recreation aides, lodging staff, and fitness center workers at air bases nationwide. Many positions include housing allowances.
