Founding Ambassador Rate — Locked Forever
Ambassadors who join during the founding year earn a higher commission percentage on every referred account. This rate never changes regardless of what OGS charges future ambassadors. The founding year ends September 1, 2027.
The more active paying accounts you refer, the more you earn — every month, for as long as those accounts stay active.

How Payouts Work
Commissions are paid on the 1st of each month. There is no minimum balance — any amount owed is paid. Payouts go directly to the Stripe Connect account you link in your ambassador dashboard. You earn nothing for referring other ambassadors. Commission comes only from businesses that pay for the platform.
Top ambassadors who build large active networks can earn significant recurring income. A van life content creator with a large following, a staffing professional with a broad client base, or a recruiter with an active professional network can realistically refer hundreds to thousands of accounts over time. How commissions work: Your commission is earned on active paying accounts. As long as the businesses you referred stay active and paying on OGS, you earn your monthly commission. If a referred account cancels, that commission stops. OGS reserves the right to review ambassador accounts showing zero referral activity for 90 or more consecutive days.

An Ambassador is someone who tells other people about OGS and earns a monthly commission for as long as those people sign up and stay active as paying members. You are not an employee. You are not a salesperson with a quota. You are not in a pyramid.
You share your personal referral link — a unique web address that is yours alone — with employers, local businesses, and advertisers in your area. When someone clicks your link and signs up, their account is permanently connected to yours. Every single month that account stays active, you receive a commission payment.
If you refer 5 accounts today and never refer another account again, you still earn commissions on those 5 accounts every month for as long as they are active members of OGS. Commission stops if an account cancels. There is no cap on how much you can earn. There is no minimum after your first month of activity.
What Does Permanently Stamped Mean
When we say an account is permanently stamped to you, we mean exactly that. That account is yours forever in the OGS system. Nobody can take it from you.
If that employer signs up today through your link and is still an active OGS member in 10 years, you are still earning a commission on that account in year 10. The stamp never expires. Commission continues for as long as the account stays active.

Staying Active as an Ambassador
To remain an active OGS Ambassador you must complete at least one qualifying activity per month:
Referring a new account that signs up through your link
Posting about OGS on social media with your referral link
Attending a community event and distributing your OGS marketing materials
If you miss three consecutive months your account is flagged for review. OGS will contact you before taking any action. Inactive ambassadors still receive commissions on their existing stamped accounts — the activity requirement only determines your active ambassador status.

Founding Ambassadors lock in the highest available commission rate for the life of their account. When OGS adjusts rates for new ambassadors, your rate never changes.
