OGS requires every staffing agency and recruiter on the platform to self-certify before accessing Trekkie (Job Seeker) profiles or job posting capabilities. You certify your agency is a registered, legitimate business, that each recruiter is authorized to represent the agency, and that your business practices meet OGS community standards.
This protects Trekkies from predatory recruiters and fake job offers. It also protects legitimate agencies from being associated with bad actors on the same platform. Once your profile is complete your agency badge appears on your profile and all your job postings.
Self-certification also protects the integrity of your agency's presence on the platform. Your agency badge signals to Trekkies and employers that you are a verified, legitimate business — not a fake recruiter or a job-posting bot.
